The value for money at Jacobs Inn was unbeatable. The room was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the option to choose an all-female room for just a small extra fee. The location near the metro was convenient, and the staff was friendly and helpful, especially the man who checked me in late at night and was still there when I left early in the morning.
The hotel breakfast menu could have been improved by offering more variety.

I stayed at a hostel close to a metro station in Paris. Despite some initial confusion with directions, I found the hostel easily. The hostel was affordable and matched the description provided. I was happy to find that there were no issues with bed bugs. Many of the rooms had their own shower, although they were quite small. There were also common showers available, and I never had to wait long to use them. The hostel even offered a cheap breakfast option, although you needed coins to pay for it. The location was convenient, being only 30-70 meters from the metro station. Despite hearing about safety concerns in the area, I didn't encounter any problems and felt relatively safe, especially during the peaceful early mornings in Montmartre.
Everything was fantastic! 😊
